About this policy
ColourFlow is an Android puzzle game with offline play and a SmartCast project from As Smart Systems, Ghana. This policy explains information handled by the app, this privacy website, and our support email.
It applies to the ColourFlow app with package name online.smartcast.colourflow. Normal play needs no account. From version 1.1.0, the app includes Google Play Games and optional rewarded ads. Older versions without these features do not use the associated SDKs. We do not run a server that stores your game saves.
02 / SAVED ON YOUR PHONE
What stays on your device
ColourFlow saves information in its local app storage so you can continue playing and keep your preferences.

The daily challenge uses the date on your device. This information is processed locally. Google Play Games sign-in does not enable cloud saves, online leaderboards or achievement uploads in this release.
03 / ONLINE FEATURES
Rewarded ads and Google Play Games
Optional ads for players aged 16 or older
You can choose to watch a Google AdMob rewarded ad for 3 points toward a hint or 5 points toward an extra tube. All 1,000 levels remain playable without watching ads, and you can use regular game points for these assists.
Ad preparation is blocked until you select “16 or older.” Selecting “Under 16” blocks ad requests. Your choice stays on the device and can be changed in Settings. The app requests non-personalized ads, applies teen protections to the entire 16+ group, and requests Google's general-audience ad content rating.
When ad services are used, Google's Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), ad and app interactions, diagnostics such as performance or crash information, and device or account identifiers. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads still involve this data processing.
Google's consent system presents choices where required before ads are requested. You can review or withdraw applicable choices using “Ad privacy choices” in Settings when that option is available. An ad may be unavailable if consent, connectivity or ad inventory does not allow it.
Google Play Games
Google Play Games can connect according to your Google account's sign-in settings, and a sign-in option is available in ColourFlow Settings. The SDK processes gamer identity, account identifiers and diagnostic or usage information to provide and improve the service. ColourFlow can display your gamer name while connected. You can play without signing in.
Your puzzle saves, move history, scores and local achievements are not uploaded by ColourFlow to Play Games in this release. Google controls its own profile, usage records and retention. See the Google Privacy Policy for Google's handling of information.

Optional backups and sharing
Exporting or importing a backup
You can choose to export your saved progress and settings as a JSON file using Android's document picker. You choose where to save it. If you select a cloud storage provider, that provider handles the file under its own privacy policy.
Backup files are readable text: ColourFlow does not encrypt or password-protect them. They may contain play history, statistics, dates and preferences. Share them only with people you intend to receive that information.
Importing reads the backup file you select and asks for confirmation before replacing local progress. ColourFlow does not automatically send backups to us.
Sharing a result
When you tap Share, ColourFlow creates a result image and caption, then opens Android's share chooser. The card can include the challenge or level, game mode, stars and move count. It does not include your full saved game.
Only the app you select receives access to that shared result. The receiving app's privacy policy applies. Temporary result images may remain in ColourFlow's cache; files older than 24 hours are cleaned up when you share another result. Android may also clear cached files.

Keeping and deleting your data
Local saves remain on your device until you reset or remove them. You have these options:
- Start over in the game. Use Reset All Progress in ColourFlow settings to clear gameplay progress. Some preferences remain.
- Remove all local app data. Use Android Settings → Apps → ColourFlow → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Android menu names may vary.
- Remove exported copies. Delete backup files from the location you selected. Manage shared results in the receiving app or with the recipient.
A small reminder: resetting or uninstalling ColourFlow does not delete files you exported or copies shared elsewhere. We do not keep a server copy of your progress and cannot restore it for you.
The ad age choice remains after resetting game progress; change it in Settings or clear app storage. Manage Google-held data through your Google account, including deleting Play Games data or your Play Games profile. Removing local app data does not delete records held by Google. Contact us for help or to request deletion of information you sent directly to us.
06 / LIMITED ACCESS
Permissions and security
The app uses internet and network access for Google online features, and the ads SDK includes advertising identifier access. It does not request GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone or broad storage access. The Android system picker gives it access to the individual backup file you select; result sharing grants access to the chosen result image.
Google SDKs encrypt transmitted data in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Local saves use Android's app storage protections. Automatic Android app backup is disabled in the app's configuration. Exported files are outside that private app storage, so protect your device and any storage account you choose. No storage or sharing method can guarantee absolute security.
07 / AGE-APPROPRIATE CHOICES
Children's privacy
ColourFlow is intended for ages 13 and above. Rewarded ads are available only to players who select “16 or older.” Players under 16, and players who have not selected an age range, can play using regular game points without rewarded ads. There is no in-game chat.
If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support email, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion.
08 / BEYOND THE GAME
This website and support email
This policy page uses local images and styles, with no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, embedded third-party media or contact forms. The website hosting provider may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser details and request time, to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from the app.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and handle support or privacy requests. Our email provider processes those messages to deliver the service. We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable legal obligations; you may ask us to delete it.
Google Play, Android, and any storage or sharing service you choose operate under their own privacy policies.

Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when ColourFlow's features or data practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised date. If a future feature changes how information is handled, we will update the policy and provide any notice or choices required before that feature is used.
